Smaro C. Gregoriadou (Korydallos, Piraeus, Grecia 1969)

Greek guitarist and composer Smaro C. Gregoriadou studied architecture, classical guitar and music composition in Athens and graduated with awards. In 1996 she was awarded a Senior Exhibition Scholarship as a postgraduate guitar student at Royal College of Music, London. She is the recipient of  numerous music awards for composition and interpretation in Athens, Bilbao, Troy, Rome and has performed in music festivals all over Europe as guest soloist, member of chamber music groups, or with orchestras. She has composed  music in all forms, which has been broadcasted and performed in Greece, England, Denmark, Italy, Spain. She is the permanent composer of Lomvriz Theatre Company (Madrid) and Theatre Lab Company  (London). Since 1999 she is the leading composer - lecturer in the International Seminars “Music and Theatre Skills in school environment” and member of “Hellenic Net for Performing Arts in Education”, conducting workshops on music for drama, guitar history, aesthetics  and technique.
